For the new county hockey season at South Yorkshire we have a new Head Coach and are pleased that Archie Busby from Rotherham HC has taken up the role after great work with the teams last season.

"Hi all my name is Archie Busby and I play for Rotherham Hockey Club.

Last season I played as a goalkeeper but have progressed outfield as a centre midfielder.

I have coached since I was u14 for my club, county and most recently in Bulgaria for the national team.

I play hockey for the love of the game and for my mental and physical health.

The best moment of my hockey career is reaching the England u18 trials, which is still one of my proudest achievements to date. "
